Three Programs.
One Of Them
Is Yours.

Twelve weeks of off-season work. The coach’s version, with the reasoning. And the system to thrive throughout the season.

Same Coach.
Different Job.

What changes is how much of the thinking is done for you.

Mike Robertson coaching a basketball player through an overhead lift at IFAST

Twenty-Six Years.
Same Question.

How do you make a basketball player more athletic without breaking them? I’ve asked this about everything from middle schoolers to NBA All-Stars.

These three are the parts of that answer that are ready, tested, and simple enough to hand to somebody without a degree in this.

“Mike Robertson is a leader in the sports performance and physical preparation industry. Mike’s expertise as a coach lies in his ability to blend evidence-based practices with a deep understanding of individual athlete needs, ensuring optimal performance and injury prevention.”

Adam Loiacono, Coach

“I have watched my son grow through Mike Robertson’s basketball training program. Mike’s focus isn’t on chasing weight room metrics, but rather it’s on building athleticism that translates directly to on court performance.”

Zach Bishton, Parent

Questions Worth Asking.

I’m a coach, but I also train myself. Which one?
The coach version. Same twelve weeks, plus the reasoning you’ll want the first time a kid asks why, or your weight room doesn’t have what the session calls for.
What does the extra $50 buy?
Video breakdowns of every workout and the why behind them: why I choose certain exercises, and how I progress from month to month. The sessions are identical. If you only need to be told what to do, save the fifty bucks.
How much time per week?

You can train up to 6 days per week, and should be able to finish all workouts in 60-75 minutes max.

My kid is 10, is he or she too young?

The current IFAST Basketball Off-Season workout is geared towards 8th-9th graders and older.

However, we will be creating workouts in the future for younger athletes who just want to get started on the right track!

Can I run this during the season?

The only time I would run this during the season is if you’re not getting minutes.

What if I’m recovering or coming back from an injury?

While all of my workouts are created to be safe and effective, always check with a medical professional (doc, physical therapist, etc.) before getting back into formal training.

I’m a basketball coach, not a strength coach. Can I still run this?

Yes absolutely!

The coach’s version will still give you full access to the program, and help you understand why the program is constructed the way it is.

So you’ll not only know how to execute and run it, but WHY it works as well!

Do I need a full weight room?

Yes, a decently outfitted gym is ideal.

The off-season program uses barbells, dumbbells and bands. If you don’t have those yet, join the free community and start there. The in-season course needs no equipment.

Is any of this a subscription?
No. One payment, you keep what you bought.
Can I ask you questions?

Due to the amount of emails, texts and DM’s I get, it’s hard for me to answer every single question.

However, the best place to ask questions is in the IFAST Basketball Community. You can do that by following this link (yes, it’s free to join).

Can I work with you one on one?

If you’re in the Fishers/Indianapolis area, I do have VERY LIMITED spots available for training/coaching.

However if you’re not local, I absolutely offer distance and remote coaching. Hoopers can apply for online coaching. Coaches can apply for the mentorship.

So, what actually makes an athlete better?

Start where it makes sense for you.

Athlete, parent or coach: pick your path and start building faster, stronger, more durable hoopers today.
